The Best Bras for Summer
The heat of summer is upon us and fashion styles are bare and sheer. It’s time to rethink your bra selections. There are hundreds upon hundreds of bra styles out there -- but fear not, we at the Underfashion Club are here to help you sort through them.
A convertible bra offers you the most versatility. It gives you many options for customization while still supporting you well under a backless bodice or halter top. You can go strapless under skinny tanks, halters, or strapless tops. Additionally, cross-back and racer back bras go well with sleeveless tops, with no sign of a bra strap in view. Skip styles with lace or heavy seams for a cleaner look under fitted sleeveless tops and fine knits.
A demi bra is the perfect choice for a plunging or revealing neckline. The wide-set cups cover the nipple, while providing good support with maximum exposure. Flesh tone-colored bras are the best option when sporting pastels or wearing sheer materials like linen or silk.
If you are into outdoor activities, you might consider fighting sweat-inducing humidity by pairing summer attire with a moisture-wicking sports bra. Sports bras provide great support and comfort, while the high-tech fabric keeps you cooler and drier than most fashion bras.

Summer Swimsuits!
With summer of 2010 in full swing, it is once again time to ask the age old question: “How can I look my sexiest at the beach?” Well, look no further because here you will find a run down of the top swimsuit trends of 2010. Check out these beach-ready 2010 sizzling swimsuits.
The Cutout
Cutouts, or monokinis, are perhaps the hottest trend this summer. These swimsuits feature strategically placed holes of varying sizes on the sides of the suit for a chic and elegant look. Cutouts successfully bridge the gap between bikinis and one pieces, quite literally. Popular this year are asymmetrical cutouts which add a little unexpected zest to ones look.
One Shoulder Styling
In recent years we have seen many dresses with this asymmetrical look which now appears to be reflected in swimsuits as well. Applicable to one pieces, bikinis and cutouts, one shoulder styling is a subtle yet audacious variation on the classic design.
Vibrant Colors
Commensurate with the recent crowning of Mimosa as color of the year, this summer is all about beautiful, vibrant colors. Beaches are packed with melodious blends of neons, blues, greens and reds. Elaborate graphic prints are reminiscent the 80s and early 90s are also hot this year.
Vintage Look
With the recent resurgence pin-up inspired fashion, looks harking back to the 50s are making waves this summer. These classic swimsuit designs are flattering to any woman’s figure and exude confidence.

Fashion for the Fourth!
It's the Fourth of July! Which means friends, family, parties, and fun! Why not consider breaking out some new looks for Fourth of July weekend? With all the get-togethers, it is the perfect time to look fabulous and be noticed for your patriotism and great style! We tend to overlook July 4 as a holiday to get dolled up for, leaning more towards a bathing suit and towel around your waist as your garb of choice, which makes this holiday a great time to stand out from the crowd.
While it is preferable to stay away from tacky graphic tees and American flag embroidered hot pants, and to try and stay a little casual to beat the heat and stay comfortable all day, there are so many ways to get creative with everything you already have to be hotter than a July day and more stunning than any fireworks show.
So party on, fellow Americans, and look darn good doing it!
